A date for the diary….

As we enter the final quarter of 2019 the conference calendar – particularly for November – remains jam packed with flag ship events including Money2020 and WebSummit still to come.

Money2020 USA will run in late October from 27-30th in Las Vegas, followed by Money2020 China, which takes place in Hangzhou in December 4-6th.

Websummit takes place on November 4-7th, once again in Lisbon. Ding will be there, with CEO Mark Roden taking to the Future Societies stage to talk about the key themes of the day. Self-styled as the best technology conference on the planet and a must attend – it rarely disappoints.

In November, you can also catch up with Ding at Hong Kong Fintech Week and Singapore Fintech Festival. Hong Kong FinTech Week gets underway on 4-8th of November and will consist of three days in HK and one day in Shenzhen. Drop by booth E04 and meet the Ding team. This year the organisers have announced significant expansion to this annual event, which has the moniker of ‘Asia’s Global Fintech Event’.

This is followed by Singapore Fintech Festival which takes place on the 11-15th of November. Ding will be in attendance and you can find us at booth 4N17. The event which is described as the ‘World’s largest FinTech festivaL’ is back for the fourth year and promises to be even bigger and better. The conference themes for 2019 include: Sustainability; Finance and Tech; Future of Finance; Investment and Global Markets Opportunities and Exponential Technologies.

The contender

Also in November is Slush Helsinki, which takes place on 20th and 21st and is fast gaining the reputation of being the must attend conference of the year. Self-described as the world’s leading start-up event, the organisers are expecting 25,000 attendees, including 4,000 start-ups and 2,000 investors. Ding wouldn’t miss it and if you would like to meet us just email [email protected]

The industry will once again be South Africa bound for AfricaCom, which gets underway on the 12-14th of November in Cape Town. This is Africa’s largest and most influential tech and telecoms event and promises to be another stimulating event as Africa continues its digital renaissance. This event is sure to attract the attention of industry participants from around the world with 15,000 attendees expected over the three days. Ding will be there to catch up with all our partners.

Elsewhere, IMTC World takes place in Miami on 12-15th November. This event gathers 500+ participants from across the payments industry – with this year a new wave of attendees arriving from the world of Fintech, as well as the Blockchain & Crypto sectors, start-ups, VCs and institutional investors.

*Tell Ding if you have an industry event we can include in our next edition.
