A date for the diary….2020
The 2020 conference calendar is bigger than ever – signature events are being joined by a new crop of conferences – all bringing something new to the table.
The year kicks off in Geneva with the annual meeting of The World Economic Forum. This will be the 50th Annual Meeting, and will be held 21-24 January in Davos, Switzerland and brings together 3,000 participants from around the world. The theme for this year’s meeting will be Stakeholders for a Cohesive and Sustainable World.
In February, the world of telecoms head to Barcelona where MWC kicks off once again on 24-27th of February. MWC is the largest mobile event in the world, bringing together the latest innovations and leading-edge technology. The theme for 2020 is Limitless Intelligent Connectivity and Ding will of course, be there – you will find us in Hall 5, stand 5E28. With over 100,000 key decision-makers expected to attend, #MWC20 promises to be one not to miss.
Money2020 has a jam-packed agenda for 2020 – Money2020 Asia kicks off on 24-26 March in Singapore, followed by Money2020 Europe on 16-18 June, and Money2020 USA on 25-28 of October.
Likewise, Websummit returns with two of its main conferences for 2020. Collision kicks off in 22-25 of June in Toronto, and Websummit takes place on 2-5 November in Lisbon. Rise has been sidelined for 2020 and will return again in March 2021 in Hong Kong.
VivaTech takes places once more on 11-13 of June in Paris, France. This is the world’s rendezvous for startups and leaders. In 2019, this go-to-annual event saw more than 120,000 attendees over the three days, from 125+ countries.
IMTC is once again offering a full calendar of conferences spanning the globe – with IMTC LATAM taking place in Argentina on 21-23 of April, IMTC EMEA in London on the 26-28 May, IMTC Asia in Vietnam in September 2020, and IMTC World taking place in Miami on 16-19 of November.
Finovate also has a packed agenda of conferences – with Finovate Fall 2020, Finovate Asia, Finovate Middle East, Finovate Europe and Finovate Spring 2020. The events, which showcase leading banking and financial technology are always well attended and feature insights from thought-leaders across the industry.
