Senior appointments signify Ding growth trajectory set to continue

New Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of the Americas bolster 200-strong team at world’s largest international mobile top-up provider.

Dublin, Ireland – 26th January 2015 – Leading international mobile top-up provider, ding*, is delighted to announce that Odhran Ginnity, former CEO of adverts.ie is joining the Irish headquarters as Chief Marketing Officer and Rob Santana, formerly of Qpay, now Incomm, will head up the US operations as Vice President of the Americas.

Having grown at an impressive +1,000% in the last 5 years, these senior appointments will provide strong leadership in accelerating growth. As newly appointed CMO, Odhran Ginnity will be responsible for all consumer facing functions encompassing Online Marketing, Online Operations, Brand, Product and Customer Analytics. With 14 years commercial online experience, Odhran is looking forward to the challenge commenting: “We have an excellent team and solid foundations already at ding*, and I am confident that through our platform we can – not only continue – but massively accelerate growth becoming the first choice brand of international top-up for our consumers.”

Rob Santana who has spent the last 18 years working in the US telecommunications space, will be based in the ding* office in Miami. He will lead the development of the US ITU market, which with a large proportion of the global Diaspora living in the country, is the largest in the world. “I am excited to joining the already strong ding* leadership team, along with the rest of the extremely talented professionals currently guiding this successful enterprise. I look forward to the challenges ahead and am very confident that together we are poised for many successes in 2015 and beyond,” commented Mr. Santana.

Speaking of the appointments, CEO of ding* Mark Roden says: “In the last number of years we have built a unique global network of over 300 mobile operators in 130 countries that allows people living abroad to stay connected to loved ones back home through mobile top-up. With Odhran and Rob joining the team, we are looking forward to telling the world about our service and taking ding* to the next level of growth”
